From Jeremy: waking to the sound of horns this morning we had an early wake up call. We went to work for a couple hours this morning and the first house is really coming together. We are working on the sheeting for the sides so that's means lots of sawing and nailing. Just want to shout out to everyone at home; my friends, family, and all who are supporting us. We will work hard monday to try to get both houses built.

From Paul Jacobson:
Que tal ninos. We're working hard down here on the houses. They're really coming along and we are all having a blast. Pat Jones the contractor with us from Orange City is a stud. The Honduran assigned to the house basically gave him full power to do what we wanted making it. He is doing a great job assigning tasks. Jeremy and I pounded more nails than I can count yesterday. Its so much more complicated here as we don't have adequate power tools such as a nail gun and a handmade wood ladder. We're learning to work with what we have. Time moves so slow down here and we don't ever know the time and sometimes it takes us awhile to even remember the day. Shout out to my boy Zach Maxey and I'm still trying to find Felipe. Wesley Schorg says hello to all and I hope everything is great back home. Still having a blast see you all soon!

  1. Hi Paul...We are so proud of the work you and the Heelan team are doing for the Hondurans. Helping others are such important life lessons. I can't wait to hear your stories. Nicole played volleyball today at East and Philip's baseball was rained out, they are headed home. I still have your phone message. Can't wait to see all of you and give you hugs. Love Carol(Mamma J)
