Unfortunately, the weather in Omaha has disrupted the trip. Our team were on the plane for 1.5 hours before disembarking due to hail. The weather changed quickly for the worse and the plane was grounded.
Anne & Theresa quickly went to work to get our team safely into Honduras. Here is an update for what American has in store for them.
They will stay at the Omaha Airport until their scheduled flight this evening. They'll be staying in the airport in Dallas until their 6 AM flight on Thursday to Miami. In Miami they'll have to take two different flights into Honduras. One group flies at 11 AM and the other at 1:45 PM.
The team is fine. They are enjoying each other's company and playing cards. They are safe! I will update the blog if there are any changes. Please continue to hold them in prayer.
