Flight group #2 has now landed in Honduras. As I understand, it is a bit of a haul from the airport to where they are staying, so be patient as our road (and air) warriors make it to camp and take over the blog from there.
I was so glad to hear that both groups had landed in Honduras. I know you were all excited to get to the school to see the kids. Missioners from last year---did you find some kids that you played with last year? Did kids remember you from last year? I'm sure your evening will be spent unpacking the bags and getting organized for the work that begins tomorrow, but I hope you find a little time to play outside with the kids.
Mark and Cole, I miss you already! Mark, Madi says to tell you she's sleeping on Papa's side. Cole, she keeps asking where you are. We are going to go see Great Grandma now and get some ice cream:).
May you all sleep well tonight. Take care and enjoy your day tomorrow building homes for those less fortunate. Don't foget your sunscreen!
We're so excited to hear that both groups have safely made it to Honduras. We will continue praying for a wonderful experience and that God will lead all of our missioners to serve everyone that they have the opportunity to connect with! A special shout-out to our wonderful house leaders, Addie and Kate! We miss you both, look forward to hearing all about your service, and will continue to pray for you on this journey!
Hey missioners! I hope everything is going good and you’re all having a blast already! I’m keeping all of you in my prayers while you’re down there and can’t wait to hear stories from you guys when you get back.
Kate Ry Addie and Haley- I am SO PROUD of you guys and am so jealous at the same time. I hope this trip moves your heart as much as it did for me last year. I’m proud of you for getting out of your comfort zones and helping others. It truly will leave a mark on your heart for the rest of your life. Tell Mia and Maria I say hola!!!! I miss those kids every day. And remember don’t give the kids loom bracelets till the end or they will basically attack you haha. Love you guys SO BIG. HUGS🩷
Your first day of God's work. I hope everything is going as planned. I'm sure you were all ready to get to work this morning. Looks like the children loved to see you guys last night. Love the smiles from everyone being able to relax for a bit getting off the bus added bonus play with the kiddos. Hope its not to hot this week. Stay hydrated keep the sunscreen on.
Miss Haley we miss you around here very quite. Max isnt quite sure whats going on since youve been gone. Looking around for you from time to time. March madness started yesterday your brother getting mad over a loss to yelling at the TV. Michigan won yesterday he was happy about that.
Get a goodnight rest missioners your doing great things!! So proud of you all. Can't wait too see your work from today. Continue prayers throughout your time there.
Thank you, Lord, for your protection over all of the missioners!
