Wheels Down in Tegucigalpa

Greetings to all.

At 1:59 p.m. my brother Francis called me from Toncontin Airport in Tegucigalpa, Honduras. The Gehlen Mission Team landed safely and are on the ground in  the 2nd poorest country in the western hemisphere.

Thanks to all involved.

They are being met by all our representatives in Honduras and will be on their way to Nueva Capital within and hour or so.

The next blog message you will receive will be from Carolyn sometime tonight.

Take Care Everyone,
Seiv

  1. Fantastic News! Chris, after I told Emma that you landed in Honduras she put your watch on and said mom, look Chris has eight days to be in Honduras as she showed me the time.. There were tears shed for you last night by her. She misses you lots. That darn 'hole' in the house. Not used to that yet. Do good things and make a difference like I know you will. Love, Mom, Emma and Tessah

  5. Hope everyone is settling in. Just warning everyone in case you didn't figure out this morning that Jordan is NOT a morning person like Mark so good luck getting him out of bed in the morning. Good luck starting your work. Love to Jordan & Mark!

  9. Glad you landed safely missioners! I had several people come into Archie's tonight to tell me you made it safe and sound. Good thing because after hearing about Erica's landing story from the January trip I was so nervous!!! Take plenty of pictures so I can scrapbook the memories! I love you Jared!

  11. I’m glad y’all are safe and ready to work! Well Gerbski, as promised, here is your Cavs update. They won 129-107 last night against the Suns. Lebron finished with 28 points, 13 boards, and 11 assists. Kyle Korver and Jordan Clarkson lit it up with 22 and 23 points respectively. The win pushed the Cavs just a half game behind the Pacers for the 4th seed in the East. In other news Russell Westbrook notched the century mark for triple doubles. Case Keenum is signing with the Broncos, which I dislike a lot. Kirk Cousins is heading to the Vikes on a 3 year, $84 million dollar year that is fully guaranteed. Teddy Bridgewater is going to the Jets, and Sam Bradford is going to the Cardinals. Well that’s it for sports, I’m Alec Langel, and have a good one down there everyone. Sending prayers!
